I've said it before and I'll shout it from any rooftop - this is an institution. Lucali is simplicity done beyond well with an atmosphere worth noting. Hands down on of the best pizza spots in NY. In order to enjoy to the fullest, below are some tips when visiting Lucali in Brooklyn, NY.
In order to get a table, you will need to get there once the doors open at 4pm to put your name down on the list. The more people on the list ahead of you, the later you will be seated. People start lining up prior to 4:00 to get an early seating. Seating beings at 5pm.
Once you have your seating time, don’t forget to grab your favorite bottle of wine or drink of choice, it is BYOB.
Credit Cards are not accepted, cash only. Something about a cash only BYOB place that just makes you feel like it’s going to be good.
They only serve pizza and calzone with fresh additional toppings. As I mentioned above, simplicity at its finest.
If you get in the line later and get a late seating (they might seat until 10pm), don’t fret, it’s still worth it. Explore the neighborhood or grab some drinks – you will thank me later.
