Where to Eat in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Being on the Atlantic Ocean, I never really expect nothing short of great seafood when traveling, but Fort Lauderdale had quite the array of cuisines. My trip was short, but was able to find a few casual restaurants that are worth the trip. Check out below, my don’t miss restaurants in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Bodega:

Great short order taco spot, their Birria Quesadilla was top notch! There is also a lounge attached to it that opens at night – in case you were wondering.

The Wharf:

Literally across the street from Bodega, you can’t miss the Wharf. If you’re going to Bodega, you’ll hear the Wharf before you even turn the corner. It’s a food truck venue with a large bar and a DJ, enough said. It gets LOUD and ROWDY. The food trucks overall were all pretty good depending on what you’re in the mood for. But here, all you have to be in the mood for is a good time! They have table service as well if that’s the vibe you’re looking for as well.

Coconuts:

About a block inland from Las Olas Beach, this is a fantastic spot to grab seafood at sunset. With the location right on the marina, it’s sure to please. They don’t take ressies, so either get there early or prepare to wait. Waiting isn’t the worst because they have an outdoor bar with seating right on the water. The seasonal seafood and their signature dishes are incredible and the service is just as good.

Press & Grind:

If you’re on a hunt for healthy juices, this place will deliver. With a variety of fresh made juices and the option to make your own, you’re bound to find the health kick you were searching for. It’s a spacious place to relax and even get some work done as they offer free WiFi.

Sistrunk Marketplace:

Not quite sure what you are in the mood to eat? Sistrunk Marketplace can be a perfect spot to start. With a variety of food and drink vendors and a casual open atmosphere, you’re bound to find something. Their tacos were legit along with their dirty martini. They also offer free WiFi, so you can grab some grub while working as well.

Bo’s Beach Bar:

On the southern tip of Las Olas Beach, Bo’s Beach Bar is a great option before, during or after a day at the beach. It’s a no frills, laid back, good food type of place. There is live music and good happy hour drink specials to put anyone in a good mood. Beach vibes + some.

Henry’s Sandwich Station:

Hankering for a sandwich? GO HERE. We ended up going twice and didn’t regret anything. Their hangover sandwich was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. Everything looked and smelled delicious.
