Brooklyn's taco scene is a tapestry woven with diverse flavors and vibrant vibes. With a growing presence of incredible restaurants focused on mastering the handheld wonder, picking where to go can be overwhelming. If you're heading to Brooklyn, here are my top 3 taco spots that you must try!
Go for the tacos, stay for the vibes and the cocktails. With an open, airy inside and an incredible wood fired menu, there are many other fantastic dishes to try, but the tacos are elevated. The tuna tostada is also a fave dish of mine to get as an app before diving into taco heaven.

With 2 locations in Brooklyn, Nene’s has my favorite Birria! Not only do they have the best Birria (IMO), but you can get it in various ways. I’m talking about tacos, pizza, mulita, and empanadas you can try it anyway you please. And yes, PIZZA. It’s tender, the consome is elite and makes my mouth water thinking of it. Don’t forget to try their green sauce.
Another vibey place with a really great outdoor patio. The tacos here are are nothing short of flavor explosions and has something for everyone. During the holiday season, it turns into a boozy winter wonderland called “Sleyenda”, if that doesn’t scream amazing, I don’t know what does.
