Top 5 Restaurants in Siesta Key, Florida

White sand beach heaven - that is how I would describe Siesta Key. With the beach spanning 8 miles, beach days are life. At the end of a nice day in the sun, I'm always on the hunt for a good meal. Check out my top 5 restaurants in Siesta Key, Florida.

Siesta Key Oyster Bar (SKOB)

Hands down my fave spot. It’s a no frills, smaller seafood joint with live music. They have a great oyster happy hour and it gets PACKED. They don’t take ressies, so go early or put your name down and prepare to wait. Their indoor bar is lined with dolla bills and they also serve seafood towers. Great local spot.

Summer House

An upscale option specializing in seafood (who doesn’t in this town) and steak. Definitely make a ressie in advance as it is typically pretty full on the weekends. The food was worth the price tags, the dirty martinis were delightful and it’s a great place to people watch as it can be a scene.

Ophelia’s on the Bay

With a daily rotating menu and set beautifully on Turtle Bay, Ophelia’s is great to escape the crowded areas of Siesta Key. Another more upscale option, but they have fantastic cocktails, a great view and delightful food.

Spear Fish

Looking for a chill vibe? Spear Fish is located right on the marina and is serving up catches of the day right off the boats. It’s a small, relaxed spot with indoor and outdoor dining and live music most nights. Obviously the seafood is a must, but the Tiki corn was out of this world.

The Cottage

Being a little more set back, you can kind of miss this place, but don’t. They have a cute palm tree lined back patio that you can forget where you are in some moments. With local ingredients, all the food was fresh. We made our own little tapas dinner out of the apps and their tuna tostadas were my fave.
